Now that I've finally completed my Magazine, let's evaluate and talk about all the things that I've learned in this time being. From not knowing how to use Photoshop at all to making a whole magazine on it, I've definitely come a long way. I've already photographed people so I think the photography for the magazine was the least challenging part of it all, getting to show what I wanted to through the pictures was challenging though but I guess my model made that easier and simpler for me so credits definitely go to her for understanding my instructions and giver her best.
What I've learned about photography is that you can't rush the process or you won't really get what you want.
I won't lie this wasn't all fun and games and was extremely stressful and time-consuming but definitely an experience, an experience that gave me so many lessons and also taught me so much.
Speaking of Photoshop, I hardly knew how to use it but now I can do quite a lot. When I used to read magazines, I used to wonder how they bring half the text behind the subject and well now, I know how to do it. Other than that I've learned how use the selection tools, eyedropper tool, lasso tool, rectangle tool and many more. I also learned about the contrast and relationship of different font style, their sizes and colours.
I learnd that when making a magazine, you should have an idea about how you're going to make it look all together - like what's the theme or vibe of your magazine and how it needs to be consistent throughout the magazine.
And lastly, I know that there's always room for improvement and that given that this is just the beginning I've made errors and mistakes but that's what this was about. To learn, to try your best and then to improve.
