I selected this picture for the cover of the magazine because firstly, it had enough space above the head for a MastHead and secondly i really liked how my subject's emotions were being shown with her eyes. You can see the glint on her eyes hinting tears, tears of fear and pain.

Rejected Cover Image

I was initially going to choose this image for my cover but I didn't mostly because of two reasons -

One being that there wasn't enough space above the head for a MastHead and secondly the model's face wasn't properly shown which I think was necessary for my cover page.
